And as soon as I heard that in my spirit, I couldn’t get to my computer fast enough. I made an outline on my phone on Saturday night, and began writing Sunday afternoon. I spent Sunday, Monday, half of Tuesday and half of Wednesday writing, and completed the entire script.

It is the 100% true story of my high school experience, where, during my parents divorce, Young Life  (a Christian high school campus organization) really saved my life in more ways than one.

The film is a love letter to the mid 90’s. Full of humor and heart and my faith journey. It also has very recognizable characters, because I was fortunate enough to live next door to MC Hammer and have an Uncle who played for the 49ers and won a Super Bowl with them during my Junior year of high school.

This is going to be the stellar 90’s high school movie – with the faith element.
